Silver Lake Library Receives KHC Grant

TOPEKA – The Kansas Humanities Council awarded $2,500 to the Silver Lake Library in support of Christmas with Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Humanities scholar Betty Jean Steinshouer brings her first-person interpretation of Laura Ingalls Wilder and the "Little House" Christmas memories to ten Kansas libraries, including Atchison, Cimarron, Emporia, Hays, Independence, Lawrence, Paola, Salina, Silver Lake, and Syracuse.
